Abstract

The heterogeneous structure of society in West Jakarta, which has very different interests, causes many conflicts, especially regarding various development, economic, political, and social issues. The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) provides services to maintain public order and security and regulate street vendors. The duties and functions of Satpol PP are closely related to human activities and habits, so they require good emotional intelligence. Good Satpol PP services will improve performance, which, of course, affects the image of the organization and the achievement of the targets set. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the work environment, performance allowances, and leadership style on the performance of Satpol PP in West Jakarta. Data were collected from 118 respondents and analyzed descriptively with multiple linear regression. Correlation and determination coefficients were used to determine the relationship between variables, and testing was continued with the F-test and t-test. The results of the study showed that the work environment, performance allowances, and leadership style simultaneously affected the performance of West Jakarta Satpol PP employees. In addition, it was also partially obtained that the work environment, allowances, and leadership style also affected the performance of Satpol PP employees in West Jakarta.   Keywords: leadership style, work environment, allowances, performance, Satpol PP
