KAJIAN ARSITEKTUR BASIS DATA PADA APLIKASI TRANSPORTASI ONLINE GOJEK: PERSPEKTIF KUALITATIF BERBASIS STUDI SISTEM
Abstract
The development of digital technology drives the need for a reliable database system, especially in online transportation applications like Gojek, which handles millions of transactions and user data daily. This research is conducted to examine the database architecture used in the Gojek application and evaluate its effectiveness and efficiency in supporting system performance. The reason for choosing this topic is based on the crucial role of databases in ensuring the stability, speed, and security of digital services. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with system study techniques, including document analysis, literature review, and observation of secondary data-based systems. The study results indicate that Gojek's database architecture implements a distributed model with a microservices approach and utilizes NoSQL technology and caching layers to handle large-scale and real-time needs. This finding emphasizes the importance of choosing an adaptive and scalable database architecture to develop digital service-based applications.
