SISTEM INFORMASI E-LEARNING BERBASIS ANDROID UNTUK TINGKAT SEKOLAH DASAR (STUDI KASUS : SDI AL-HADIRIYAH)

Abstract

E-learning has an important role in the world of education, especially in Indonesia. Currently the world is being rocked by the outbreak of COVID-19 and since March 16, 2020 the Indonesian government has decided that students should carry out learning activities from home. SDI AL Presentiyah is a school that also applies learning from home. In carrying out the learning process, students and teachers are assisted with several applications to support the learning process. However, a number of problems and difficulties were encountered from both students and teachers when implementing this home learning method. Lack of socialization and limited information are the main obstacles in this problem. The presence of several learning media and applications is quite helpful for users, but the features needed in the learning process are separated from one application to another so that users have to use many applications to support learning activities.   Therefore, the creation of an android-based application called Be.u Education was carried out as an effort to overcome this problem. In this project we develop an android-based online learning application with several requirements attached to the system to be stored in a database using a firebase database. The development of this system uses a virtual education learning model. So that students can receive these learning materials and communicate with their teachers using the same technology. This application provides various features that users need from various applications, and has main features such as dashboards, folders, chats, and profiles. This application is designed with a view that is quite attractive when viewed and is easily accessible by various age groups. The basis of learning in this application of course refers to the ongoing curriculum so that users or students can learn accordingly.
