Abstract

Ratu Sembako shop has been established since 2016, this shop provides basic necessities and other household appliances. Goods data reports at Ratu Sembako Stores still use notes from the goods supplier (agent). The shop owner only keeps the note as an archive to find out the incoming stock of goods and the price of incoming goods. Sales results, and inventory data are still recorded in the book so that the reports generated are inaccurate and not timely, because the data needed to make reports is lost or damaged, the recording of goods data often occurs when there is a mismatch between the recorded stock and the physical stock of goods. In addition, owners have difficulty obtaining information on their income, because the profit and loss calculation is not accurate. This system was built to make it easier for shop owners to monitor goods data and calculate sales so that in managing their business they can overcome problems that often occur in the store. The method used in this study is the Waterfall Method starting from the analysis, design, implementation, system testing, and maintenance stages. In this study the system testing method used is the Black Box testing method of a software without having to pay attention to the details of the software. This research produced an information system for collecting data on the sale of goods that can easily record incoming goods, income statements and sales reports so that they are more organized and efficient.   Keywords: System, Data Collection, Sales Report, Waterfall Method, Black Box Testing Method.
