PENERAPAN ANALYTICALl HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP) DALAM PENENTUAN PENERIMA BEASISWA JALUR KIP-KULIAH

Abstract

The KIP-college pathway scholarship is a transformation of Bidikmisi, a scholarship that provides in the form of educational funding assistance and per semester living expenses provided by the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture which is distributed through the Jakarta Region III   Higher Education Service Institute.With so many people interested in the KIP-tuition scholarship pathway and the quota number of KIP-tuition scholarship recipients determined by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI), universities need to organize and create a decision-making system as an alternative in accepting KIP-tuition scholarships in order to be able to screen candidates. Recipients of the best and most targeted KIP-college scholarships according to the quota given. This research applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method which is an alternative method in decision making which involves many assessed criteria or multi-criteria. This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is those who are entitled to receive a KIP scholarship based on specified criteria, namely report card grades, achievements (certificates), entrance test scores and parents' income. The results of the calculation of the consistency ratio (CR) test for the criteria obtained a value of CR = 0.02, the calculation results were no more than 0.1, so that the comparison assessment of the criteria was consistent. The result of the decision support system using the AHP method is that recommendations for KIP-college scholarship recipients are obtained with calculations according to the selected criteria, so that universities will find it easier and more targeted in determining KIP-college scholarship recipients.
