Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to implement an Android-based robotic arm control system using Google Speech features as a voice command interface. The developed system consists of hardware and software. The hardware includes a power supply module, Arduino Mega 2560, HC-05 Bluetooth module, character LCD, servo motors, and an Android mobile device. The software consists of an Android application and a control algorithm implemented on the Arduino. The system operates with a voice control concept based on Google Speech recognition services that utilize cloud technology to recognize and differentiate voice command patterns. Recognized commands are sent to the Arduino via Bluetooth communication to subsequently control the movement of servo motors on the robotic arm. Test results indicate that the system is able to function well under ideal environmental conditions. At a noise level of 45–60 dB, the system achieves a certain level of success in voice recognition, The success rate of voice recognition dropped by up to 40%.
