Abstract

Nutrition services in hospitals play an important role in supporting the patient recovery process, especially for inpatient care. Manual management of nutrition data, meal menus, and patient food consumption monitoring can lead to delays in information and recording errors. This study aims to design and develop a web-based hospital nutrition information system to assist doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and patients in managing and monitoring patient nutritional needs and food consumption in an integrated manner. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The developed system provides features such as role-based login access, patient data management, food consumption monitoring, nutritional needs management, and monthly consumption evaluation presented in graphical form. The test results indicate that the system functions properly and helps improve the effectiveness and efficiency of nutrition information management in hospitals.
