Abstract

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) play a vital role in driving the economy, particularly in localcommunities. However, many MSEs still rely on manual transaction management, leading toinefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and challenges in generating reports. This research aims todesign and develop a sales information system tailored to the needs of MSEs, using the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model. The study includes stages of requirementanalysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The proposed system automates transaction recording, generates daily and monthly reports, andfacilitates inventory management. The system design incorporates key tools such as EntityRelationship Diagram (ERD), flowcharts, and use case diagrams to ensure comprehensivefunctionality. Testing results indicate that the system effectively enhances transaction managementand minimizes errors. This digital solution is expected to increase the efficiency andcompetitiveness of MSEs, supporting their transition into the digital economy.
