Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence, work stress, and non- financial compensation on job satisfaction of non-medical employees at Artha Bunda Hospital, Central Lampung. The background of this research is based on the increasing competition in the healthcare sector which requires optimal human resource management to improve employee job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with primary and secondary data sources. Data were collected through questionnaires and field research. The population consists of 127 employees, with a sample of 36 non-medical employees selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that competence, work stress, and non-financial compensation have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. These findings highlight the importance of improving employee competence, managing work stress effectively, and providing appropriate non-financial compensation to enhance job satisfaction. The study contributes to human resource management practices, particularly in the healthcare sector.
