PERANCANGAN APLIKASI ANDROID PENGELOLAAN JADWAL KONTROL, OBAT DAN HEMODIALISIS PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS
Abstract
The latest data from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and the Ministry of Health shows that the number of diabetes mellitus (DM) sufferers in Indonesia will reach around 20.4 million by 2024. Indonesia ranks fifth globally for the highest number of diabetes sufferers. DM patients require regular management of check-ups, medication consumption, and hemodialysis. Irregularity in treatment increases the risk of complications. This study aims to design an Android application for managing check-ups, medication consumption, and hemodialysis schedules in DM patients. The system development method uses the Waterfall model through the stages of analysis, design, and implementation. The system design uses context diagrams, UML, class diagrams, and activity diagrams, with the interface designed using Figma. The results of the study are an Android application design that is expected to improve patient compliance in undergoing treatment.
