Implementation of a Web-Based Student Data Management Information System with Dynamic Reporting and Automatic Class Grouping Features at Globe National Plus 2 Batam School
Abstract
The rapid development of information technology requires educational institutions to manage data effectively and efficiently. Globe National Plus 2 Batam School still faces several problems in student data management, such as slow data input processes, delays in information presentation, and difficulties in accessing student data in real time. In addition, the existing system does not support dynamic reporting and automatic student grouping (auto-grouping). This study aims to design and develop a web-based Student Data Information System to address these issues. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Waterfall system development method. The system is developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results show that the developed system is able to simplify student data management and searching, provide dynamic reports according to user needs, and automatically group students into classes. The implementation of this system can significantly improve the efficiency and productivity of teachers and administrative staff at Globe National Plus 2 Batam School.
