Abstract

Manual warehouse inventory management often leads to various problems, including recording errors, inaccurate stock data, and delays in report generation. These issues reduce the effectiveness of inventory management and hinder decision-making processes. This study aims to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of a web-based Warehouse Inventory Information System in improving data accuracy and inventory management efficiency. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the Waterfall development approach, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and literature review. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing to ensure that each system feature functioned properly according to the specified requirements. The results indicate that all system features operated successfully, including inventory data management, user management, incoming goods transactions, outgoing goods transactions, damaged goods management, and inventory reporting. Furthermore, the system improved the accuracy of inventory records, accelerated inventory management processes, and simplified the generation of integrated reports. Therefore, the proposed web-based Warehouse Inventory Information System proved effective in enhancing inventory management and supporting more accurate and efficient decision-making.
