Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a desktop-based spare part inventory management information system for warehouse operations. The main problem identified is the manual recording process using books and spreadsheets, which often causes data inaccuracies, reporting delays, and difficulties in monitoring stock availability in the warehouse. This research applies the Research and Development (R&D) method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain system requirements accurately and in accordance with warehouse operational needs. The system was developed using Java Swing and MySQL database to support integrated inventory management processes. System testing was conducted using the Blackbox Testing method to ensure that all system functions operate according to user requirements. The results show that the system improves efficiency in data processing, reduces recording errors, accelerates report generation, supports real-time stock monitoring, and assists users in making faster, more accurate, effective, and structured decisions in warehouse management activities
