Rancang Bangun Sistem Informasi Mini Perpustakaan Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Waterfall

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based mini library information system utilizing the CodeIgniter 4 framework. The system was developed to facilitate the management of library data, including books, members, as well as borrowing and returning transactions. The software development method employed is the Waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The result of this research is a simple library application that can be accessed via a web browser, assisting administrators in managing data and improving efficiency and accuracy in library services. This system is expected to help educational institutions or small organizations manage library data in a structured and well-documented manner. Testing was conducted in a localhost environment using XAMPP with a MySQL database, demonstrating that the system operates according to the intended functionality. With this information system, library data management becomes more effective, efficient, and transparent.
