PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PRODUK PADA PROSES ASSEMBLY

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to identify the root cause of the problem and implement measures to improve the quality of the CG200 product, focusing on the assembly process. Initial data obtained from the quality control department revealed several product rejects, such as incorrect cable connections, incorrect bolt torque, and component misalignment, occurring in the assembly area. The methods used in this study included observation, interviews, and a PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) analysis approach. The results indicate that after procedural improvements and technical training, the number of defects was reduced by 21.5% within three months. Therefore, improvements to the assembly system can improve the quality and production efficiency of this product. Keywords: Quality Control, Assembly Process, Production Defects, PDCA.
