ANALISIS GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN, LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI KOPERASI DI KOTA BATAM

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership style, work environment, and motivation on the performance of cooperative employees in Batam City. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed as the data analysis technique. The research methodology involved distributing questionnaires to 105 cooperative employees in Batam City, specifically in the Sekupang area. Purposive random sampling was used to select a truly relevant sample. Several tests were conducted, including validity, reliability, t-tests, and F-tests. Validity test results indicated that all variables—leadership style, work environment, motivation, and employee performance—were valid. Reliability test results showed values ​​above 0.6 for all variables, indicating they were reliable and suitable for subsequent testing stages. Multiple regression analysis revealed that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance; similarly, work environment and work motivation were found to significantly influence the performance of cooperative employees in Batam City. The F-test results demonstrated that leadership style, work environment, and motivation collectively exerted a positive and significant influence on the performance of cooperative employees in Batam City. Furthermore, the adjusted R-square value was 0.760, indicating that leadership style, work environment, and motivation contributed positively to the performance of cooperative employees in Batam City.
