Design of a Simple Web-Based Information System for Beauty Product Inventory at Girls Time Secret

Abstract

The growth of the beauty industry demands an efficient and structured goods management system, particularly in stock management. Girls Time Secret, as a business in the beauty sector, faces difficulties in monitoring incoming and outgoing goods, as well as tracking real-time stock availability. This study aims to design a web-based inventory information system using the CodeIgniter framework and operated locally through XAMPP, which facilitates the recording of product data. The system development method follows the waterfall approach, consisting of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of the developed system show improved efficiency in managing product data and minimizing manual recording errors.
